As part of the celebrations, St. John's Hurst Green held a Harvest Feast for children, at which they made BOB boxes.....for Bats or Birds.
The boxes were designed by secondary school pupils in Liverpool, with the flat packs created by inmates based in Manchester. They are then sold for £10, of which £2.50 is ploughed back into the project.
The remaining £7.50 goes to CAFOD projects overseas... and, of course, the bats or birds are given shelter!
