The 2016 Bishop’s Harvest Appeal follows a successful appeal in 2015 for people in Columbia and Malawi.
The 2016 appeal will support 'Tariro', a UK-based charity that supports vulnerable Zimbabwean children to gain an education. Tariro does much more than pay for uniforms, books and any school fees; it ensures that the children are fed and have everything they need to be able to learn.
It is also supporting Christian Aid partner Soluciones Prácticas (Practical Solutions) in Bolivia, which works with marginalised communities in that country to help them to recover from floods and share their knowledge to develop sustainable ways of living, not just for now, but for generations to come.
