Increasingly we live in a cashless society, with either contactless cards or Apple/Google Pay, via mobile phones and smartwatches, growing in popularity as a convenient way of making a transaction.
We have recently installed a contactless payment terminal at St Wilfrid's as a new option for individual giving. The machine is easy to use and is permanently situated at the back of the Church, giving both occasional visitors and regular attendees the ability to make donations of between £3 and £30.
