This year, as usual, we ask for donations to the Food Bank, which is currently short of supplies due to the Summer Holidays and resulting increase in demand. Tinned and dried foods especially please.
Alongside this, we are supporting the Bishop of Blackburn's Harvest Appeal. Leaflets are available in Church and donation slips should be returned in an envelope clearly marked 'Harvest Appeal'. We will then pass these on to the Diocese. This appeal has been widely publicised across the dioceseand will make a huge difference to the lives of those it supports.
