New Church Electoral Roll

Under Church Representation Rules a new church Electoral Roll has to be prepared in every sixth year from 2007 onwards. This means that a new roll has to be prepared in 2019.

Anyone who wishes to be on the electoral roll for our parish must complete an enrolment form – even if you are on the existing electoral roll.

Enrolment forms are available at the back of church, from the Electoral Roll Officer, Jean Johnson, or by clicking here. Completed forms should be placed in the box at the back of church, put through the Rectory letterbox, or handed to Jean.

If you wish to post your form, please use the foillowing address:

The Rectory,
Riverside,
Ribchester,
PR3 3XS.

All forms must be returned by no later than Sunday, 31st March 2019 (Mothering Sunday). The new roll will then be prepared and will be displayed (names only) on the church notice boards no later than Sunday 14th April 2019 before being accepted at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) on Sunday, 28th April.

Your name must be submitted by 31st March, as no new names can be added from that date until after the APCM. Only corrections can be made between the publishing of the new roll and the APCM.

By having your name on the electoral roll you can have your say at the APCM on matters affecting your church.
